The Product Development Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting our Consumer Products Product Development team during the busy holiday season and leading up to the Chinese New Year factory closures. Reporting to the Director of Product Development, you will be the go-to person to keep things running smoothly during this important time. This is a contract position, estimated to be 6 months in length.
You will process approvals for products, packaging, and marketing materials (both physical and digital)
You will ensure delivery of product lines, meeting all deadlines
You will maintain style guides and usage guidelines specific to intellectual property
You will communicate daily with domestic and international teams
You will advocate for and educate Licensee partners about our needs
You will guide Licensor partners to better meet the needs of our company and Licensees
You will handle basic data organization and interpretation, including approval rates and speed
You will manage simple artwork tasks such as collecting, organizing, and commissioning
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
You have 1+ years of experience in an administrative support
Experience in anime, gaming, or entertainment industries is a plus
You have demonstrated project management abilities, initiative, and run multiple work streams simultaneously
You pay attention to data, and use analysis to ensure quality and to provide action plans and solutions
You are proficient in Microsoft Suite and/or G Suite, and it's a bonus if you're familiar with MyMediaBox, along with being experienced in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
The Consumer Products team at Crunchyroll is dedicated to bringing outstanding experiences, products, and game collaborations to anime fans around the world. We license anime franchises to third-party companies to launch products across all categories from toys and games, fashion, and home decor to experiences and digital games and goods. We are made up of pop culture fans who love bringing brands to life through products and experiences, retail and digital marketing activations, and gaming collaborations.
