About the Role

A leading bicycle manufacturer is seeking a mid-level product designer to develop a new series of urban e-bikes. The project focuses on creating elegant, minimalistic designs with retro influences for a premium market segment. While initially a single project, there may be opportunities for future collaboration based on performance. The position requires brief on-site presence in Copenhagen.

Responsibilities:

  • Design a new series of urban e-bikes that combines elegance, minimalism, and retro elements
  • Create detailed design concepts and technical specifications
  • Develop product visualization materials including sketches, renderings, and presentations
  • Collaborate with engineering team to ensure design feasibility

Requirements

  • Experience in product design, preferably in the bicycle or transportation industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with premium product design
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot)
  • Understanding of e-bike technology and urban mobility trends
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
