Product Designer, Platform

Our Platform team is growing. This team is responsible for building and continuously evolving our extensible platform to catapult Blend into a much larger market, to serve the needs of any financial product, in addition to our flagship mortgage business.

Specifically, our digital lending platform allows financial institutions to rapidly deliver modern experiences that are delightful, frictionless, and transparent in hours and days instead of weeks and months enabled by our low-code to no-code tool. Sound interesting? Read on.

As a Product Designer of the digital lending platform, you will be responsible for ideating, iterating, and delivering the visual journey builder platform that empowers our customers  to deliver delightful experiences. You’ll partner closely with the Blend field, engineering, and product teams cross-functionally to better understand their product objectives, partner with our customers to understand their complex workflows, and deliver delightful designs that will serve as the foundation for the future of product experiences across all our business lines.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Design the future of how we build all digital product experiences at Blend. You will enable customers to extend and build experiences as configurable workflows in a low-code to no-code multi-user builder.
  • Participate in customer feedback loops to evolve our MVP to a robust and scalable offering.
  • Partner with product and engineering on ideation and design from concept to delivery.
  • Deliver high quality, intuitive, scalable, and modular designs.

Who you are:

  • 3+ years experience in product design.
  • Your portfolio demonstrates your range of interaction design and visual design skills and your ability to solve complex problems.
  • You are comfortable working very closely with product and engineering
  • You are comfortable driving and owning complex, cross-team projects
  • You thrive in solving ambiguous problems, are self-driven, and have an eagerness to continuously learn. 

To comply with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location.

For full time hires, the compensation range for this position is between $126,000 - $148,000. This role is also bonus eligible. Blend benefits and perks are described below.  

Final pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
