We are looking for a Product designer to join our Product team.
As a Product Designer within our product team, you will play a key role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our products. Your creative vision will guide the development of engaging, intuitive, and visually appealing product experiences. You will work closely with Product Owners across different product lines, providing design expertise that complements our product strategies and meets market and customer needs.
As a Product Designer, you will contribute to the backlog by providing design perspectives and insights, assisting the Product Owner with prioritisation. You will coordinate the design aspects of the development, ensuring the product's full roll-out/productization aligns with design goals. Additionally, you will engage in team-specific internal projects and tasks to support overall product development.

What to expect:

  • Manage design projects, including setting timelines, collaborating with our frontend engineering team & product team to ensure smooth development and rollout of design elements.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to understand product vision and strategy, ensuring design aligns with business goals and user needs.
  • Develop and iterate on design concepts for new functionalities across our product suites, from initial sketches to final deliverables, ensuring they meet our high standards for aesthetics and usability.
  • Prototype and test designs to refine user experiences before full rollout/productisation.
  • Contribute to internal design projects by defining and shaping a UI design system that enhances our team's capabilities and processes, to be utilized by all company teams.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation, resulting in impactful product differentiation.

What you need to succeed:

  • Proven experience in the field of Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in user interface design, user experience design, and visual design.
  • Experience in independently developing product/feature concepts, beginning with comprehensive market research and customer interviews
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and a commitment to delivering exceptional value
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g.,FIGMA, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision).
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details, coupled with a user-centric approach to design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a knack for prioritizing tasks based on business impact.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of other languages (German, French, Spanish, etc.) is a plus.

  • Nice to have:
  • Previous experience in the e-commerce or retail industry.
  • Product Design experience in SaaS or startup/scale-up environments.
  • Experience in UI development with React or similar front end frameworks.
