We are looking for a Product Designer to work on the design and delivery of new products and services from prototype to delivery. You'll balance the needs of users with those of the business, driving new initiatives and improving existing products and platforms. You’ll consider ethical and governance needs. And you'll create inclusive products that cater to the concerns of participants and researchers.
You will initially join the Feedback, Engagement, and Recontact (FER) side of the organisation where your primary focus will be designing and delivering novel health information and insights. These ‘health insights’ will let participants understand more about their own health and is a big part of our equitable value exchange offer to participants who join. In the future, this role will collaborate with teams responsible for enabling new research and longer-term engagement with participants. If this sounds like a role you'd like to learn more about, then please apply!
Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent and treat diseases. We are a charity, supported by the UK Government, in partnership with charities and industry. We work closely with the NHS and with public authorities across all nations and regions of the UK.
Our plan is to bring together 5 million volunteers from right across the UK who will be asked to contribute information to help build one of the most detailed pictures we have ever had of people’s health. Researchers will be able to use this information to make new discoveries about human health and diseases. So future generations can live in good health for longer.
Requirements
As a Product Designer, you are responsible for supporting the design and build of the UK's largest ever health research programme. Working with cross-functional teams across Our Future Health, you'll be a major part of the design of one or more products, from prototyping and researching to design and implementation. You'll also be a part of shaping how we work as multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to our design ethos and approach.
While the following aren't necessary skills, they can help. If you're interested in the role and don't have any of the following, we still encourage you to apply!
