✨The core mission of the Product Designer:
We are looking for a Product Designer to join the B2B Team at Hack The Box. As part of the team, you will work to create impactful experiences for both our customers and clients. Our Product Designers are key members of each product team, crafting digital design solutions from early-stage concepts through to the detailed design of product features. Our Product Designers possess a hybrid digital skill set, which may include Research, User Experience Design, Visual Design, Accessibility, or Designing Systems, with particular strengths in one or two of these areas.
As a Product Designer, you will produce high-fidelity design deliverables that address customer needs and discourse challenges. You will also identify opportunities for personal development and actively participate in the Product Design Practices.

This position is an individual contributor (IC) role that reports directly to our Head of Product Design.
⚔️ Technology tools & weapons you’ll be using:
- Digital design and high-fidelity prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Technologies that power the Web (HTTP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Servers, Web Browsers) from a perspective of implementation feasibility and design-engineer collaboration.
- Storybook, Maze
- Jira, Confluence

- Undertake desk research to inform your ideas and build an understanding of a problem or space
- Create sketches, prototypes or low-fidelity designs to explore your ideas and communicate them to the team, ensuring that your vision is aligned with business goals and user needs.
- Support in preparing and running user research when needed
- Translate user feedback and data even when ambiguous to ideas
- Prepare and participate in creative team workshops
- Create prototypes to test or communicate interactions
- Create high-fidelity designs using an existing design system, or support in developing a new design system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure successful project outcomes
- Actively participate in our Product Design Team, regularly sharing your work and ideas
- Inform or evolve the information architecture of the digital product
🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of the Product Designer at Hack The Box:
- 2-3 Years of experience working as part of a team that has launched products to market, or that has worked on a product in-market in large-scale browser solutions
- Experience across all stages of the product design process. This could be from initial analysis, workshops, sketches, ideas and concepts through to user research, prototyping and the final delivery of designs
- A combination of experience across mobile and web.
- Testing and iterating must be an inherent part of your approach
- The drive to deliver excellent work
- The instinct to recognise when something doesn’t work
- A proactive, collaborative and inclusive attitude
- A willingness to reflect on your performance and respond to feedback from others
- Your passions for good organisation and documentation
