We are about to tackle some really big things and need experienced end-to-end Product Designers with the full suite of UX, UI, and visual design skills to make it happen — if this sounds like you, let's talk.

About this role

This is a fast moving, experiment-based product design role to join our newly formed product growth team.

You’ll collaborate with product management and engineering to create customer experiences and sustainable product-led growth mechanisms that drive acquisition, engagement and expansion across Karbon’s leading practice management platform.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Obsessing over data, observing and interviewing users to help understand user behavior and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Constant experimentation including developing hypotheses, exploring possibilities, rapidly concepting, shipping, testing, measuring and iterating to find growth mechanisms that work
  • Applying design craft and expertise to create premium experiences that customers love to use
  • Rolling up your sleeves to solve problems, providing constructive feedback and delivering exceptional outcomes as a team.
  • Championing design by being a thoughtful and passionate voice for design across the organization

About You

Candidates with the following qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply:

  • At least 3 years professional experience designing high-quality digital products
  • If your journey into product design began in marketing, even better
  • Top-tier UX, layout, and visual design skills — this team is responsible for end-to-end product design from concept to launch, so you'll need the full suite of skills to make it happen
  • A fascination with experimentation, data, and analytics — be curious, try things and learn
  • Confident writer of short-form content — words are design too
  • Maturity to discuss ideas critically, contribute to strategic decisions, and always be open to adopting someone else's idea if it's better than your own

Why work at Karbon?

  • Gain global experience across the USA, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Canada and the Philippines
  • 4 weeks annual leave plus 5 extra "Karbon Days" off a year
  • Flexible working environment
  • Work with (and learn from) an experienced, high-performing team
  • Be part of a fast-growing company that firmly believes in promoting high performers from within
  • A collaborative, team-oriented culture that embraces diversity, invests in development, and provides consistent feedback
  • Generous parental leave

Karbon embraces diversity and inclusion, aligning with our values as a business. Research has shown that women and underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single criteria. If you've made it this far in the job description but your past experience doesn't perfectly align, we do encourage you to still apply. You could still be the right person for the role!

We recruit and reward people based on capability and performance. We don’t discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, lifestyle, age, educational background, national origin, religion, physical or cognitive ability, and other diversity dimensions that may hinder inclusion in the organization.

Generally, if you are a good person, we want to talk to you. 😛

If there are any adjustments or accommodations that we can make to assist you during the recruitment process, and your journey at Karbon, contact us at [email protected] for a confidential discussion.

At this time, we request that agency referrals are not submitted for this position. We appreciate your understanding and encourage direct applications from interested candidates. Thank you!
