Product Designer

This role is based out of our new and exciting Mexico City Office. Mexico City is our first office outside of the US, and you’ll be the first Product Designer here.  We’re headquartered in New York City, with a large presence in Atlanta, GA, as well as innovation hubs & remote talent across the U.S. BetterCloud is backed, among others, by some of the best technology investors: Vista Equity Partners, Warburg Pincus, Bain Capital, and Accel.

As a BetterCloud Product Designer, you will work on creating an intuitive, responsive and engaging user experience for our platforms. We are looking for a designer who is great at what they do and thrives when coordinating cross-functionality across different teams and PMs. If you have these qualities and are willing to hit the ground running then we’re the place for you!

About You:

• 2+ years experience working at a SaaS company or similar
• 2+ years experience coordinating responsive web designs with PMs and Engineers
• An online or PDF portfolio demonstrating a thorough Product Design process and exceptional workStrong experience with vector-based design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc)
• A desire to build and design iteratively in multiple releasable stages

Preferred Qualifications 

• Positive history of user research and implementing that feedback into designs
• Expertise in Figma-specific functionality, such as auto-layout and prototyping
• Experience building and contributing to design systems
• Bachelor’s Degree in a design or IT-related fieldStrength in visual design

• Contribute to the evolution of our flagship application by creating best-in-breed UI designs that delight users
• Craft and deliver polished deliverables (wireframes, specifications, and prototypes) to communicate design decisions and rationale
• Follow an iterative, user-centered and data-informed processCreate solutions with measurable quality and impactAlign to internal style guides and industry best practices
• Partner and collaborate with design peers, Product Managers, Front End Developers, and othersManage multiple work streams and competing priorities
• Contribute to the BetterCloud Design System
