We’re a market leading tech company that source, extract and package data to create the ultimate private company database for the UK and, as of recently, Germany too. Through a combination of people power and machine learning, our platform helps 20+ different industries invest in, understand, and partner with these exciting businesses.
We’re at a pretty exciting stage right now—we’ve built a profitable, high-growth business, with 140+ employees and an enviable client list. But we’re not done yet. We’re on a mission to become a global data company that helps every organisation discover, understand, and work better with the UK’s private companies.
Our Product team is responsible for building and improving our data platform used by anyone (over 20 different industries) with an interest in private company data, whether that’s early-stage start ups or established companies. We help investors to find the next big thing, salespeople to partner with suitable companies and government bodies to support new businesses!
Over the next few years we’re looking to expand our coverage across European locations - building brand new features that can rapidly scale giving our users access to our high-quality data and expertise, applied internationally. To do so, we’re looking for a Product Designer to help bring all of our new and exciting ideas to life. There will be lots of opportunities for you to have your say in shaping how we expand internationally and bring knowledge of the best (and worst!) design practices. Don’t worry though - we won’t throw you in the deep end! You’ll receive lots of support from the Product Design Lead and Chief Product Officer, as well as any training and direction you need to solve Product problems together.
Day to day, this role will involve:
There’s no ‘one size fits all’ with the profile that we’re looking for, but you should have at least two years experience within product design (a bonus if it's in the B2B space, but don’t be put off if not!). We’re looking for someone with:
🔭 Proficiency with each stage of the design process and comfortable diving into different stages as and when required
📈 An eagerness to jump into complex problems and data visualisations
🧠 The ability to design features that match the way our users think about data or enable them to leverage it in new ways
🎨 Impeccable visual design skills and attention to detail, with ability to execute using lightweight processes and creativity
🎯 Driven by delivering great experiences
Personality-wise, you should also be:
We’re offering a competitive package DOE.
On top of this, we invest a lot in keeping our people happy and healthy. So as well as your salary, you'll also get:
