What Is The Opportunity?
Nisos is seeking a Product Designer to contribute to the user experience and process from end-to-end for our products. As part of a small team that can make quick decisions, there is a great opportunity to directly contribute to the end users needs and further development of the Nisos product. This is a high visibility role within which you’ll engage cross-functionally to understand the distinct personas, workflows  and challenges of both our internal Intelligence Services users as well as those of our external clients. We’re looking for someone eager to learn that enjoys a challenge, wants to take responsibility and the opportunity to influence the shape of the product! We are looking for someone highly collaborative. 

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to continually improving the usability and enjoyment of the Nisos Intelligence Platform and Nisos Managed Intelligence products in alignment with product management’s vision and users needs.
  • Understand customers and their needs by conducting user research and basic data analysis, user testing, and establishing feedback loops.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your solutions.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders, including product management, engineering, and intelligence services.
  • Ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.

Who You Are

  • Experience of Product Design or UX Design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing solutions in the threat intelligence or cyber security industries.
  • Proficiency in modern design tools.
  • Knowledge of wireframing and journey mapping.
  •  A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to iterate on solutions efficiently and intelligently within SCRUM agile processes.
  • Want to make a difference in a small, exciting company.
  • Delivery-focused yet still want solutions to be beautiful.
  • Attention to detail, but understands how to meet delivery expectations.
  • Be passionate about resolving user experience pain points through great solutions.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.

Great To Have

  • Prior experience working in threat intelligence, digital risk protection, endpoint security, or managed detection and response.
  • Familiarity with SCRUM agile processes.
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction or successful completion of UX Immersion Program.

Where You'll Work

  • This position is located in Belfast, NI. This is a hybrid position, with opportunities to go into the office 2 to 3 times a week.
