Ads and Promotions is one of the core features of the DoorDash business which helps our customers access the most quality and affordable selection for their needs. The Demand team plays a crucial role within the Ads and Promos organization and is responsible for Marketing capabilities of the platform. Our mission is to empower businesses with marketing tools to connect with their customers efficiently by creating best-in-class advertising solutions serving Restaurants, Brands and DoorDash internal use cases.

About the Role

As Design Director, you'll oversee an accomplished group of designers and spearhead the strategic direction of our merchant and advertiser-facing tools, blending innovation with hands-on leadership and balancing the needs of our merchants and advertisers. You’ll leverage your strategic insight to craft compelling strategies and translate them into actionable plans, collaborating seamlessly with Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations, and Sales stakeholders to align visions and roadmaps. You'll foster a culture of creativity and excellence within your team, upholding a high bar for craft. With a keen eye for talent, you'll build and lead a world-class team of product designers.

You will report to the Head of Merchant Design.

Compensation

The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below.  Compensation in other geographies may vary.

Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.  For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location.  Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
