We are seeking for a highly motivated and detailed oriented Product Counsel to join our legal team. Reporting to the Senior Product & Privacy Counsel, you’ll provide legal support across a range of health-tech products, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to help product development and deployment strategies. Strong project and stakeholder management skills are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Guidance: Provide proactive legal advice on a variety of issues related to product development and deployment, including regulatory compliance, data protection regulations, and health regulations.
Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of legal support for product launches and updates.
Privacy & Data Protection: Support the Privacy Counsels to draft Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new product launches or features.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide effective legal solutions
Risk Management: Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and work with the Senior Product Counsel to develop corrective action plans. Assist with internal audits related to product compliance.
Legal Expertise: 1-3 years working in a similar role in the tech sector Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, data protection (especially GDPR), and health regulations, with the ability to provide proactive legal advice.
Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of legal support for product launches and updates.
Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations.
Analytical and Risk Management Abilities: Ability to identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks, and collaborate on developing corrective action plans.
Continuous Learning and Research: Keen interest in staying updated on the evolving legal landscape in the EU, particularly in health-tech, AI, and privacy, and effectively communicating these insights to the team.
