I. PURPOSE OF POSITION
A product coordinator is part of the product management team. This person is responsible for supporting product managers with all aspects of product life cycle management. The primary task of the product coordinator is to track and manage all the distribution of the product, sales, returns, and consumer interest.
II. GENERAL FUNCTIONS/SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and track all aspects of customer orders. This will include coordination with internal teams (both in facility and remote) in the prompt communication of key dates and timelines. Also, monitoring that all activities (internal and external) required to fulfill the customer order are in process.
- Communicate any deviations to achiving customer commitments to PM and work with internal/external teams to recover and minimize impact to customer
- Support PM and production team in tracking and communicating priorities and schedules
- Support PM in the preparation of various reporting requirements ranging from daily to yearly
- Work with PM and Saels teams to track and report results of quote activity
Duties performed occasionally
- Perform costs and improvement analysis in support of PM and PDE teams.
III. REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION
- Complete 2-year degree (in Engineering Field, Business or Marketing preferred) or equivalent experience
- 0 to 1 year Experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, and computer skills required
