As leading part of the Product Assurance department, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Set up and adaption of project-specific product assurance plans according to customer requirements;
- Coordination of planned measures with internal and external customers
- Implementation of the agreed requirements in the project;
- Leading the internal product assurance team and coordinating the relevant technical experts;
- Definition of product assurance requirements for subcontracts and review/approval of the resulting plans;
- Monitoring of subcontractors in the implementation of these requirements and acceptance of their deliveries and services;
- Coordination / implementation of product assurance tasks during development and production in-house and with subcontractors;
- Coordination / execution of inspections and monitoring of test activities in-house and at subcontractors;
- Set up and approval of the relevant product assurance documents;
- Supporting the quality management officer in the further development/optimization and implementation of the company's internal quality management system.
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
- Degree in physics, electronics, computer science, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree or professional expertise plus extensive training
- 5 to 10 years of project experience in aerospace projects or projects of comparable complexity preferably as lead PA Manager in ESA satellite projects
- Interest or experience in working with extensive requirements documents and standards
- High negotiation skills, used to develop and make decisions
- High sense of responsibility
- Independently, proactive, structured and goal-orientated working method
- Team-orientation and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German or another European language is an advantage.
