🙌 The Role

Product Associate at Oodle Car Finance.

Product Team

The Product Team is at the heart of our mission to put car buyers back in control. Our product development is driven from strategy as we focus on delivering great customer and business outcomes.  Our Product teams work with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Designers and Operations experts to deliver the best possible experiences.  

This role is a great opportunity to kick start your career in the world of Product.  You’ll work closely with a Head of Product and Product Managers to gain experience on the full product development lifecycle, understand how to use data and technology driven approaches to solve customer and business problems. You’ll also be part of our mentorship programme to provide support and advice.

 What you’ll be getting up to:

  • Involved in solving challenging problems at pace.
  • Understand product performance and customer behaviour.
  • Defining the right metrics to measure the impact of new features.
  • Gather customer feedback and run user testing of new features and designs.
  • Work with Operations, Legal & Compliance, and other Product teams to assess feasibility and implications of new ideas.
  • Work with Software Engineers to translate product strategy and business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Re-design customer journeys to improve conversion from application to funding.
  • Model the impact of potential and recently launched features on customers satisfaction and financial outcomes.
  • Report on product development progress and achieved outcomes to Product team’s leadership.

The role will be a great fit it:

  • You’ve recently graduated or have 3 years of work experience and looking for a career switch.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Some experience in analysing data in Excel, drawing insights to support decision-making is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working well and building relationships with both technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Flexible and curious, willing to learn new systems and techniques, and get involved in all types of challenges even outside your core team.
  • An interest in financial services, B2C experience and technology is a must.
