Product and Eco-system Marketing Manager

This job requires full business side ownership of a particular swimlane of product (Ex-QLC vs. TLC; SP vs. DP) (Quad Level Cell vs Tri-Level Cell; Single Port vs Dual Port) from product conception to end of life. A successful product marketing manager will own and define market positioning, target customers, sales support, ecosystem readiness and customer communications on major features/attribute changes for the full swimlane. Key deliverables will include but not limited to the following: Full product line business management. (Product planning → EOL) Understand the eco-system needs in terms of ISV, IHV, Standards Body. Well-versed with industry trends including NVMe, OCP, SNIA. Candidate will also be familiar with newer SSD technology like FDP (Flexible Data Placement Mode), newer trends in SSD Security and Manageability features. Understanding ecosystem needs in terms of power, performance and form factors will be required.

Assists in providing technical support for product swimlane. Responsibilities include representing the product to customers and sales force, representing market's needs to engineering. Conducts competitive product/pricing analysis and market research, evaluates sales performance, and formulates and reviews strategic long range plans, goals, and objectives for specific product areas. Oversees development and production of marketing material, may be required to develop and present product training material. Responsible for creation and maintenance of product briefs. Develops product specification and additional requirements. Candidate will act as an advisor to the sales force and key resource in interacting with engineering, product management, and marketing groups. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Ensures Solidigm products are part of validated HW under leading vendor offerings.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field with 10 plus years of work experience in Data Center Storage field.
  • Experience in product or technical marketing or strategic planning in data center storage or Solid State Drive will be a requirement.
  • Ability to understand technology trends is required.
  • Understanding of storage landscape, data center architecture and a passion to drive customer requirement integration into our product lines will be a plus for a successful candidate.

For California, Colorado, New York, Washington, and remote roles: The compensation range for this role is $136,750 - $232,630. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
