The role

At GoCardless, we excel in experimentation to optimize user acquisition, activation, and retention through continuous discovery and data-driven decision making. As a Product Analytics Manager, you will own the strategy for measuring impacts across Product and Marketing within our Growth Group. You will be instrumental in crafting and executing strategies that leverage data analytics to accelerate user engagement and revenue growth. Your insights will be turned into actions as your expertise helps drive the future of GoCardless.

What excites you 

  • Drive Experimentation: Own and refine experimentation processes to generate actionable insights that drive core business metrics, enabling quick action on high-impact opportunities.
  • Strategize and Measure: Develop and execute strategies for testing changes to our core product and marketing activities, focusing on increasing user engagement and accelerating revenue.
  • Define and Track Metrics: Establish key product metrics and track KPIs to monitor progress, uncover new hypotheses, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Influence Roadmap: Collaborate closely with Product Leaders to shape the product roadmap through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Enhance Data Coverage: Champion the enhancement of product data coverage and the implementation of user tracking best practices, mentoring team members to foster a data-driven culture.
  • Continuously innovate on the practices and the tools we rely on to deliver the right insights at the right decision points (A/B Testing, Analysis (SQL), Visualisation (Looker), Tracking (Amplitude), Automation (Python)). 

What excites us  

  • You have experience leading a high performing analytics team working on SaaS web apps or B2C products.
  • You have a background working in similar fast paced product-driven teams and are great at communicating insights to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders, to drive data-informed product decisions.
  • You have extensive experience owning and developing experiment processes, including running A/B tests, and have a very strong understanding of testing and experimental design
  • You have advanced SQL skills and intermediate Python/R skills
  • You have extensive experience with data visualisation tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau etc.) and develop compelling visualisations which influence decision making and business understanding
  • You’re a self-starter who proactively seeks out ways to improve data capabilities at GoCardless and generates insights that help product teams uncover new opportunities.
