Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Product Data Analyst who can take full ownership of our data analytics process, focusing on building, iterating, and maintaining accurate and efficient dashboards. The ideal candidate will quickly develop dashboards, ensure their accuracy, independently investigate data issues, and show a strong sense of ownership in resolving any discrepancies. Additionally, they will conduct thorough analyses, translate test results into insights, and provide actionable recommendations to drive product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Dashboard Development and Iteration:
- Quickly build and iterate on dashboards using Metabase, integrating data from Redshift, Google Analytics, and the App Store.
- Continuously refine dashboards based on stakeholder feedback and business needs to ensure they remain useful and relevant.

2. Data Accuracy and Validation:
- Independently verify the accuracy of data before sharing dashboards with stakeholders, ensuring the information is correct and reliable.
- Implement processes to regularly audit dashboards for consistency and accuracy.

3. Experimental Analysis and Insight Generation:
- Analyse and translate results from A/B testing, LTV calculations, churn analysis, and other experiments into actionable insights.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of customer behaviour and performance metrics to generate recommendations that align with business needs.

4. Product Optimisation and Impact Measurement:
- Work on product optimisation initiatives, using insights and data analysis to improve product performance and company KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to validate and support product changes using accurate data insights.

5. Ownership and Accountability:
- Take full ownership of data and analytics processes, showing a hands-on approach to resolving issues as they arise.
- Communicate findings and propose solutions to stakeholders proactively, ensuring data drives product decisions effectively.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in SQL (Redshift experience preferred) and dashboarding tools like Metabase.
- Experience with Google Analytics and integrating App Store data.

Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in a product analytics, data analytics, or business intelligence role, preferably in a tech or startup environment.
- Proven track record of building accurate, efficient dashboards and conducting detailed data analyses.

Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and independent approach.
- High attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and quality before sharing insights.
- Ability to communicate insights effectively and work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams.

- Self-starter attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
