Product Analyst

As a Product Analyst at Total Expert, you’ll build strong partnerships with our amazing product managers, engineers and designers and work with them to identify delightful ways to solve problems.  You’ll develop a keen sense of empathy with customers and internal stakeholders through direct observation and data analysis, and you’ll work to identify solutions that are not only valuable to our customers but also sustainable for our business.  Plus, you get to do all this in a really cool office with fun people (bring your ping pong skills and thirst for LaCroix®). 
 
What You’ll Do:
·Use Case and Workflow Analysis
Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to identify and document use cases and workflows.
Analyze potential dependencies and downstream impact, ensuring all aspects of the product are considered.
Work with engineering teams to translate use cases into technical requirements and actionable user stories.

·Product Metrics and User Analysis
Assist Product Managers with identifying and reviewing product usage and adoption metrics.
Provide data-driven recommendations to Product Managers and R&D Leadership for product enhancements and new feature development.
Work directly with users to understand pain points and validate potential solutions.

·Cross-functional Collaboration & Delivery
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, Product Managers, design and engineering teams to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the product development lifecycle
Reduce ambiguity for engineering teams through healthy collaboration, clear communication, and well written specifications (use cases, user stories, process flows, etc.)
Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies as needed.
Assist with User Acceptance Testing activities and managing Beta or early access programs
 
 
What We Look For:
·       3+ years of experience in a Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or related role in a B2B SaaS environment.
·       Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
·       Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
·       Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
·       Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
·       Strong presentations skills – both virtual and in-person
·       Curious in nature, which drives you to ask great questions and seek supporting data to interpret and validate the most important needs of the product
·       Proactive in sharing experiences and techniques with other Product team members to turn feedback into learning opportunities across Total Expert’s product portfolio
 
What Stands Out:
·       Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, Datadog, Domo).
·       Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle.
·       Experience with the Total Expert platform.
·       Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
