Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role requires a blend of product and data analysis skills to derive customer insights, improve the product experience, and support our mission of enhancing employee well-being. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analysing user data, conducting user interviews, and generating user stories to guide product development. You will also identify and address conversion rate bottlenecks, collaborating with various teams to implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Customer Insights & Product Experience Improvement:

  • Extract meaningful customer insights with the help of tools like Segment, Heap Analytics, and Mixpanel
  • Analyse user data to identify patterns and opportunities for product enhancement.

User Interviews:

  • Conduct interviews with users to gather feedback on their product experience.
  • Synthesise interview findings to inform future product development.

User Story Generation:

  • Create detailed user stories to guide sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with the product team to prioritise features based on user insights.

Conversion Rate Analysis:

  • Identify and analyse bottlenecks in user conversion rates across different product features.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the user journey and improve conversion metrics.

Actionable Insights from User Data:

  • Analyze user-generated data to provide actionable insights for customers using tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Utilize SQL to perform complex data queries and generate reports.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

  • Partner with well-being experts to create effective reporting templates for clients.
  • Work closely with the product team to ensure user insights are integrated into product development priorities.
  • Communicate design intent and articulate user stories to the engineering team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working for early stage ventures or startups, informing and guiding the early versions of product development.
  • 3+ years of experience in product analysis and data analysis roles.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Segment, Heap Analytics, and Mixpanel.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting user interviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to create detailed user stories and work within agile development frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for identifying conversion rate issues.
  • Comfort in working in highly ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
