Role : As a part of the product team at TripStack, your primary responsibility will be to support the Product Owner of the Search and Booking Engines at TripStack. You will work with key stakeholders and scrum teams to make sure the end product meets business requirements and aligns with overall business goals. As part of this role you will:

• Contribute to managing and prioritizing the backlog for the Search Engine team
• Create user stories or features for issues or new development needs
• Attend and contribute to all sprint ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning etc.)
• Understand the architecture of the search engine and how it interacts with other products and parts of the business.
• Use your expertise to help the search engine product team organize, visualize, and understand large data sets.
• Establish product requirements and user expectations with the scrum team.
• Assist in determining acceptance criteria and testing use cases with QA.
• Ensure technical teams follow product-defined guidelines and processes.
• Troubleshoot and deep-dive in day to day issues and incidents.
• Work with the development team to refine and improve the development process.
• Help keep internal technical teams accountable for quality output and product delivery.
• Serve as a liaison between product and development teams.
• Work directly with PMs, EMs and TLs to oversee product development.
• Document business requirements, build workflows and ensure successful product rollouts.

Desired Skills and Experience :

• 2-3 years of  experience working as a Product Owner/Product Analyst.
• Experience in the travel industry [an asset].
• Knowledge of API development & documentation i.e. Swagger.
• Previous experience working on agile and scrum organizations.
• Ability to multi-task and execute in a fast-paced role with significant context-switching.
• Ability to dig in deep. Ability to find balance between user needs and business goals. while questioning and validating assumptions along the way.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for understanding and improving complex product flows.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Kibana, Grafana, Looker.
• Team player.
• Self-driven and proactive.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills – from product specifications to JIRA tickets to stakeholder communications.
