The Procurement & Vendor Performance Manager will lead sourcing and procurement efforts while ensuring high performance from suppliers and vendors. This role will focus on negotiating contracts, monitoring and tracking vendor performance, and driving cost-saving initiatives. The Procurement & Vendor Performance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business needs and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and products.

Requirements

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support business goals and operational efficiency.  
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms and pricing.  
  • Monitor vendor performance, including quality, delivery timelines, and compliance with agreements.  
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to company standards.  
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement expenses.  
  • Collaborate with production, supply chain, product development, and operations teams to align procurement activities with demand forecasts.  
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor communications.  
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and vendor performance.  

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.  
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable contracts.  
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).  
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the CPG or manufacturing industry.  
  • Knowledge of global sourcing and supplier performance management.  
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in procurement and supply chain operations.  
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost optimization.  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

Salary Range: $90,000 to $120,000
