Procurement Technologies & Processes – Focus on Purchase-to-Pay (f/m/d)

This role is important in achieving digital transformation within procurement across the entire business working with multiple functions and stakeholders. You will work closely with the line of business, the procurement teams across the world, and our IT to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach. This position will directly report to the Head of Procurement Technologies & Processes. You will be responsible to develop and optimize the purchase-to-pay process in our IT landscape, with a focus on SAP MM and partially FI. You will be the point of contact for technical problems or system-related issues of our systems and programs.

  • Management and implementation of IT projects in the procurement area, including customizing for our SAP ECC Roll Out and S4, as well as responsibility for upgrades, releases, and developments.
  • Ensuring smooth 2nd-level support for all countries where SAP has been implemented and supporting the power users (who provide 1st-level support).
  • Cooperate with IT regarding interface definition of the different systems and contribute or drive to the optimization of processes.
  • Point of contact for technical issues or system-related questions (Subject Matter Expert) as well as conducting system tests.
  • Depending on projects, manage external consultants, procurement and IT in projects.

 

  • > 5 years of experience within the purchase-to-pay process
  • Customizing of SAP ECC and / or S4 (focus MM module)
  • Experience of leading projects
  • Commercial knowledge
  • Excellent English language skills, German is an advantage
  • Stakeholder management
  • Good communication skills and empathy, e.g. able to argue to stay within the standard system and deal with different people/cultures
  • Solution oriented and good at problem-solving, while paying attention to details
  • Positive mindset and open for new ideas and technologies
  • Strong personality who also takes uncomfortable decisions
  • Stand up, give feedback, and get us moving in the right direction
  • Organizational talent and able to structure, prioritize work

A salary in line with the market is offered for this position, which is based on the specific qualification and adequate professional experience.

We are required by law to state a minimum salary. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is 46.291 EUR according to the collective agreement (woodworking industry).
