In the Procurement team we are seeking a self-motivated and hands-on
PROCUREMENT SUPPORT OFFICER
to join our team and work from our office in Leiden.
As a Procurement Support Officer you will be entrusted with key responsibilities that involve contract management, procurement operations and lab inventory and order management. You will play a pivotal role in accelerating contract execution timelines, procurement excellence and inventory optimization.
We are looking for someone who would be interested in a broader range of procurement, contracting and inventory activities. As a scale-up company, we are quite literally building the company and the Procurement department together so there is always ample opportunity for new experiences and the ability to contribute directly to the build-out of our processes and structure.
The position will report to the Director of Procurement and Partnerships and works closely with Lab Operations for inventory and order management.
In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will:
Liaise with business requesters and legal to finalize contracts
Actively and timely manage the contract execution process, applying a great eye for detail
Administer the Contract Management System (CMS)
Have the ability to jump-in on ad-hoc Procurement Operations tasks and projects
Ordering (lab) consumables
Support lab inventory management, where needed
Manage PO creation and approval process
Support lab supplier negotiations and management
