The Americas Procurement Organization is divided into two teams, Strategy and Execution. The role of the Procurement & Subcontract Specialist will report directly to the team lead for Regional Strategy and focus on supporting project opportunities in the sales phase. You will work closely with the Sales Engineering and Demand Planning teams to coordinate cost and lead times for the regional packages. This position will require a high level of supplier relations to quote opportunities, source potential partners and support contract negotiations.
What does a Procurement & Subcontract Specialist do at Fluence?
- Collect supplier pricing and lead time data on a regular cadence to support customer proposals
- Subcontractor and supplier sourcing
- Support the qualification process for EPC contractors
- Support project pipeline reporting for the execution team
- Lead RFQs for EPC packages on turnkey projects
- Negotiate EPC Agreements
- Create and manage intercompany task orders
- Support reporting needs for Strategy Procurement
What does the ideal candidate look like?
- 2-3 years supply chain experience
- Experience with EPC work encouraged but not necessary
- Detail oriented and organized
- Subcontract experience
- Proficient in data reporting
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and set targets for completion
