How you will contribute to SLM's vision
We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to help streamline and manage our purchasing process.
In this role, you’ll be sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that we’re stocked with the materials and services we need to keep our operations running smoothly. You'll also be analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities, coordinating with internal teams to understand their needs, and handling all the paperwork related to procurement.
What you will be doing
- Managing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods/services
- Monitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Tracking supplier performance and resolving any issues
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Identifying and implementing process improvements for procurement efficiency
- Keeping accurate records and reports on procurement activities
Requirements
Your Skills & Experience
Experience
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
- Experience in managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field
- Familiarity with logistics or last-mile delivery is a strong plus
