About the Role:

As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our company acquires the goods and services needed to operate efficiently and cost effectively. Reporting directly to our General Manager for México, you will collaborate with various departments to align procurement strategies with our business goals.  You will work on-site in our office in Santa Catarina near Monterrey, México.  Your expertise in sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing procurement activities will be key to driving our success.

What You'll Do:

•  Strategize and Optimize: Develop and implement procurement strategies that enhance the purchasing process, ensuring we get the best value for our investments.
•  Supplier Relationships: Identify, evaluate, and build strong relationships with suppliers to meet our quality, price, and delivery standards.
•  Negotiate to Win: Use your negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions, making sure we stay ahead in the market.
•  Market Analysis: Stay on top of market trends, conducting cost analysis to uncover cost saving opportunities.
•  Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements while working closely with internal stakeholders to meet their needs.
•  Inventory and Logistics Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and work with our logistics team to guarantee timely delivery of goods.
•  Performance Tracking: Keep detailed records of procurement transactions and supplier performance, providing insights and reports that drive informed decision making.

Who You Are:

•  Educated and Experienced: You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
•  Skilled Negotiator: Your negotiation and contract management skills are topnotch.
•  Analytical: You possess strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with a keen eye for market trends and cost saving opportunities.
•  TechSavvy: Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
•  Organized and Efficient: You excel in organizational and time management skills, keeping everything running smoothly even in a fast paced environment.
•  Communicative: Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and suppliers alike.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
•  Experience in the manufacturing industry.

Physical Demands:  

This role primarily involves extended periods of sitting at a desk.

Travel:  

Minimal travel required (0-10%).
