Procurement / Inventory Clerk

  • Manage inventory by issuing stock, diligently monitoring levels to ensure optimal supply while generating accurate and comprehensive reports that reflect current inventory status;
  • Facilitate seamless purchase orders and timely deliveries to maintain smooth operational flow.
  • Maintain detailed fleet management logs that encompass inspections, servicing schedules, and licensing requirements, ensuring strict compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards to guarantee safety and efficiency.
  • Enhance job knowledge and expertise through consistent and ongoing training opportunities, and effectively leverage the inventory management program for precise stock handling, efficient processing of purchase orders, and thorough audits to uphold high standards of inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct messenger services with attention to punctuality, oversee daily mail collection, and manage bank deposits to ensure secure and organized financial transactions.
  • Perform receptionist duties with a professional demeanor, efficiently manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, and maintain an organized system for office documents and supplies, while actively assisting with various administrative tasks and meticulously preparing purchase orders in accordance with established procurement policies.

Requirements

  • Diploma in supply chain or equivalent
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 5 CXC Passes incluing Mathematics & English
  • At least one year experience in inventory, warehouse operations or similar role
  • Ability to lift and carry items
  • Comfortable working in warehouse environment
