This role reports directly to the Director of SCM Procurement R&D. The role will be responsible for executing all supply chain engineering for passive components for SSD as well as support for Procurement R&D Enclosure and Connector Engineering. This role is part of the Commodities and Manufacturing Sourcing Engineering group which resides in the broader Global Supplier Management function.

Roles and Responsibilities
The high-level responsibilities are:
- Explore and benchmark emerging technology in the industry
- Contribute to future technology definition and requirements with R&D and Engineering teams.
- Define the technical requirements for supplier selection.
- Work together with supplier to define the raw materials and overall materials manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield and manufacturability requirements.
- Develop plans and strategies to validate critical process window at supplier.
- Drive supplier process window validation activities on critical process modules throughout stages of development. Drives supplier improvements on quality, reliability, yield and cost
- Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge and problem-solving tools.
- Establish master Gantt for projects and perform regular review on the project progress.
- Provide component level technical support during new product development.
- Significant supply chain experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Minimum 5 year of experience in passive components and R&D development
- Requires experience and thorough knowledge in business practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in English (speaking and writing) as well as local language.
- Experience in an international organization.
- Experience in semiconductor industry.
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Solid State Physics, Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering degree with experience in Board Manufacturing.
