Summary/Objective
This position will require excellent administrative skills. Various job duties include gathering information, getting prints together, putting prints out for quote and placing PO’s, breaking down BOM’s and ordering purchased parts, as well as miscellaneous tracking of tooling and purchased parts, returns, and sending out purchased parts to vendors. Daily verbal and written communication skills are required to interface with internal and external customers as well as all vendors.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities.
- Solidworks or other CAD software knowledge a plus.

Must have good computer skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, ERP System preferred
- Good task execution and follow up with a high sense of urgency a must
- Must have the ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously. Project management training or experience a plus

Required Experience

2 – 5 Years’ experience in similar Purchasing role

Blueprint reading skills preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and people skills
- Must be detail oriented and concerned with timely handling of requests
- Strong math skills and strong mechanical aptitude preferred
- Machine Shop Experience helpful
- Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
Preferred Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- BS Degree Preferred.
