Process Manager – Retail Products

The Role:

To manage, plan, and implement processes to meet the client requirements.  To evaluate and improve business processes and oversee the day-to-day operations for the Retail Solutions Centre (RSC).  To ensure that the RSC projects all run smoothly and efficiently.  A key part of this role is to communicate with all stakeholders in a concise, informative and timely manner.

Main duties: 

  • To assess daily business operations and processes and make improvements in critical path processes.
  • To ensure the successful direction and progression of all products through the critical path and for the success of the specification, pack copy and artwork approval process.
  • You will be responsible for day to day service delivery to the client and support to their internal teams as well as RSC.
  • Responsible for developing strong client relationships and realising opportunities for the expansion and development of our service provision.
  • To attend regular client meetings either in person or online as needed.
  • Data analysis of performance and reports including but not limited to weekly product critical path status, monthly KPI’s, product approval overviews and supply chain challenges.
  • Manage client expectations and handling difficult conversations relating to timelines with the supply chain whilst trying to meet tight deadlines.
  • Integral member of a team of approximately 20 staff with daily interaction within the office or online.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience of product or process management in the retail sector with strong time management
  • Ability to demonstrate solid understanding of retail processes
  • Ideally degree educated in a business related subject including supply chain or production management
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish rapport and promote our service offering in a clear, concise and friendly manner, both online and face-to-face.
  • Demonstrates a self-motivated, resilient and above all positive approach to working with all stakeholders
  • Ability to travel to client sites across the country (pool car provided)
  • Team player essential
  • A pro-active, organised and resilient individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong IT Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint and product management systems.
  • Accuracy, speed and attention to detail is essential
