Compensation: Starting at $115,000/year + Bonus

We’re looking for a Process Engineering Manager to lead process development and enhancement across production and support teams. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Oversight: Manage engineering, quality, and tooling teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Process Optimization: Develop, standardize, and enhance workflows, focusing on critical systems like melt and sand processes.
Documentation Management: Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), standard work instructions, and procedures in the ERP system.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, design, and scheduling teams to integrate process considerations, oversee pattern changeovers, and ensure smooth production transitions.
Change Implementation: Lead Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), First Article Testing (F.A.T.), and new product introductions.
Problem-Solving & Quality Improvement: Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
Waste Reduction & Efficiency: Drive 6S and lean initiatives to minimize defects (scrap) and improve efficiency.
Tooling & Equipment Management: Oversee tooling priorities, repairs, and new product tooling requirements.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety evaluations and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates on engineering, quality, and special projects, focusing on critical-to-quality (CTQ) variables and equipment performance.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience:
5–7 years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
1–3 years in an engineering supervisory role.
Preferred Expertise:
Experience in sand casting foundries (preferred).
Knowledge of blow molding, extrusion, or injection molding is a plus.
Experience with ISO 9001 standards.
Strong background in ERP systems (IQMS preferred) and BOM management.
Proven success in process improvements, troubleshooting, and Lean manufacturing methodologies.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
