How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

The Process Engineer I assists in the design, development and maintenance of allograft manufacturing processes including improvements to existing products and processes. Drafts and executes performance and qualification test plans in compliance with Quality and Regulatory standards for allografts and medical devices.

What you’ll do:

• Resource: Serves as the primary engineering resource and/or the project lead on projects using existing technology or as an engineering resource on new technology projects.
• Protocols: Drafts and executes testing protocols for allograft tissues, processes, and equipment. Generates technical reports for verification and validation of new products/processes and/or improvement implementations.
• Support: Supports the engineering needs of other LNH departments as determined appropriate.
• Mentor: Responsible for mentoring peers, technicians on existing procedures.

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and two (2) years of Engineering experience in the medical device industry or a similarly regulated industry (e.g. Aerospace, Pharmaceutical) OR
• Master’s degree in Engineering and no years of Engineering experience in the medical device industry or a similarly regulated industry (e.g. Aerospace, Pharmaceutical).

Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

• Master's Degree in in Engineering.
• White Belt or Green Belt Lean Certification from LNH Lean University or similar.
• Two (2) years of directly related medical device engineering experience.
• Solidworks, MiniTAB, JMP.
• Biomedical Engineering and Technology knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology to production and development of clinical solutions.

• Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Project Management: Ability to manage project activities and meet deadlines as required including the use of appropriate quality and design control tools and methods.
• Critical Thinking: Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Complex Problem Solving: Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Data Analysis: Uses mathematics and engineering principles to solve problems and is knowledgeable of statistics and probability.
• Team: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate multiple activities with a wide variety of disciplines within the company; open to others' ideas; able to lead project teams of technical staff.
• Engineering & Technology: Knowledge of practical application of engineering principles to develop process and product solutions; experienced with a number of processes, systems, or products.
• Communication & Presentation skills: Ability to communicate conclusions and recommended path; able to present complex information to peers.

Salary: $74,354 - $99,138 / annually

*The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location and the candidate’s qualifications and prior relevant experience.  The pay range for this position is $74,354 annually (entry- level qualifications) to $99,138 annually (experienced in this role). *

*Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.

This position is eligible for an annual bonus once eligibility criteria are met.
