The main responsibility of this position is to perform in-process analytical bioassay sample testing to support both early and late-stage protein, cell and gene therapy programs.
- Support method and critical reagent qualifications
- Utilize laboratory techniques such as mammalian cell culture and routine analytical procedures such as ELISAs, PCR, cell-based assays, and flow cytometry
- Responsible for data integrity and accuracy, and document all analytical testing in an electronic laboratory notebook
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Biochemistry, or other related degree concentration with 3 years industry experience (preferred), OR Relevant Masters with 1 year industry experience, OR PhD
- Experience with:
- Pipetting (single and multi-channel pipettes)
- Flow Cytometry
- Aseptic Technique
- Cell Culture
- qPCR and/or dPCR
- ELISA / Immunoassay
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motived, adaptable, and a can-do attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Accurate record keeping, experience with electronic notebooks preferred
- Follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Experience working in BSL2 labs
- Experience with GMP procedures preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Flexibility to travel between Malvern and Spring House 10% of the time
Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Spring House, PA are encouraged to apply.
