Handshake is hiring a Principal Technical Program Manager to report to our CTO. This role will manage Handshake’s most important initiatives in Engineering and help shape the strategy to achieve our North Star metrics.
Support Handshake’s top priority programs in Engineering
Help define the engineering roadmap and execute on the strategy to meet milestones
Develop and implement systems and processes for operational excellence
Establish strong relationships with tech leads and managers across various teams
Present/communicate the team's progress, analysis, and recommendations to executives, and discuss the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers
Proactively communicate blockers and other issues, and work actively to resolve them
You have led multiple technical programs or projects to a successful release
Experience with leading complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects that have more than 100 stakeholders
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs

For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
