Reporting to the Director Global Functional Talent Development Partner for GBO, this role will be responsible for providing the design, development and delivery of learning programs and experiences aligned to the talent development strategy for GBO. Applying a systemic lens the successful candidate will be focusing on the growth for our employees, enabling our people managers to be successful and growing high performing teams. 

Strong partnership with HRBPs, Global and Regional Talent Development Partners and Talent Development COEs ensures that interventions and learning activation all come together seamlessly to achieve business goals and advancing skill development and organizational health in alignment with the functional business strategy. 

The ideal candidate will have a track record in L&D, Leadership Development and Organizational Development. The individual should have demonstrated success in designing and implementing scalable programs to meet priority learning and talent development needs across a fast-paced global organization.   

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of the assigned function’s business and competitive landscape. 
  • Built trusted partnerships with leadership, HR team and senior stakeholders. 
  • Partner closely with the HRBPs of the GBO business function, assess the function’s global development needs and support the creation a strategic talent development strategy for the function (including business impact and measures of success of the talent development priorities and projects). 
  • Partner with functional learning teams (where applicable) to integrate technical skill building needs into the functional talent development strategy for an end-to-end holistic learning strategy.  
  • Facilitate learning offerings including senior audiences and design and develop bespoke learning experiences where the need is not covered by the enterprise curriculum. 
  • Partner and align with the Global and Regional Talent Development Partners on quarterly business reviews of the GBO talent development strategy with key HR and business stakeholders as well as with the Centers of Excellence. 
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Talent Development Partners to ensure regional needs are represented in the GBO talent development strategy and to ensure regional activation of the talent development strategy.  
  • Partner closely with the Centers of Excellence (Manager and Executive Development, Performance Management, and others) to ensure functional development needs inform the design of our enterprise-level development programs and performance management approaches.  
  • Bring business knowledge and insights to help the Centre’s of Excellence design user-centered products and services aligned to support LinkedIn’s business growth. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS in L&D, HR or a related field or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 10+ years' work experience including at least 7 + years of experience in L&D. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in providing L&D expertise and consulting partnership, ideally with a global sales organization. 
  • Significant proven expertise in leading L&D initiatives within a fast-moving organization. 
  • Expertise in designing, building and delivering learning offerings with complex material to sophisticated audience. 
  • Capability of working on initiative and forming strong networks and working relationships. 
  • Proven strong Project Management experience. 
  • Excellent facilitation skills and proven delivery of training programs, at senior level. 
  • Strong international experience. 
  • Excellent communication and presentations and public speaking skills.

The pay range for this role is $138,000 to $224,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
