Principal Specialist Automation Scripting

• Support automation of panel management and reporting for online media consumption research  
• Write and debug scripts in languages like Python, SQL or VBA 
• Develop and maintain automation with tools like Crontab and bash (or PowerShell) 
• Maintain existing automation scripts and support resolving data processing issues 
• Support in monitoring and troubleshooting of the systems executing the scripts 
• Collaborate with development teams and provide support for production environments 
• Continuously learn and implement new tools, techniques and concepts, including cloud computing 

• Excellent database knowledge and strong proficiency in SQL scripting 
• Proficiency in some automation programming language, e.g. Python 
• Experience with automation tools like Crontab 
• Good knowledge of shell scripting, like bash  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail 
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, including cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS or Azure) 
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders 
• Proficiency in English language  

Optional Skills:

• Experience with VBA and PowerShell 
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI 
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana 
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence  
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles
