We’re looking for a Principal Sourcing Specialist who can partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers globally to develop strategies to find candidates for our Executive Sales team. You will be working to find creative ways of surfacing top talent and activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach..

What you’ll do...
Reporting into Lead - Talent Sourcing, as an individual contributor, you would be responsible for
- Collaborate with recruiters to understand leadership hiring needs in the Sales business, source top talent, and act as a talent advisor
- Create structured sourcing plans and strategies to identify and attract top leadership talent for our sales organization
- Research and track industry leadership movements, providing updates on significant appointments, departures, and changes
- Provide market intelligence and advisory services based on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor insights
- Conduct in-depth research, including competitor mapping and demographic reports, to inform strategic hiring approaches
- Strategize and execute talent pipeline development, market research, and company mapping
- Work on ad-hoc projects involving research on talent mapping across MongoDB’s peers and competitors
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to sourcing and recruitment that contribute to the long-term growth of the company, implementing new processes and refining standard recruiting practices to align with MongoDB's mission of delivering the highest quality results to customers
- Utilize various sourcing channels to locate both active and passive candidates and build candidate lists in the CRM system
- Proactively connect with top talent to build a strong talent pipeline for critical business functions and reduce time-to-hire
- Participate in team-wide initiatives and projects
- Mentor less tenured team members during onboarding, training, and development
We’re looking for someone with…
- 7+ years of experience working with and building sourcing strategies with Recruiters and hiring managers within an in-house recruiting team or a Sales-focused recruitment agency
- Must have leadership sourcing/hiring experience
- Advanced experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing and talent research
- Experience in global sourcing and executive search with a proven track record of successfully identifying senior-level executives
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with stakeholders and candidates
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of the technology landscape, industry dynamics, and executive talent market trends
- Excellent research/sourcing skills with the ability to search for hard-to-fill reqs
- Familiarity with Gem CRM and Greenhouse ATS is preferred
- Must have worked in a high-pressure environment that is driven by business-priorities and stakeholder-enabling scenarios
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors/ Masters degree in any discipline
