TITLE: UX Designer
REPORTING TO: Head of Product Management
WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India
- As a UX designer, you are primarily concerned with how the product feels (emotion). You explore many different approaches to solving a specific user problem.
- Work with other team members and project contributors to ensure the consistency and quality of the product.
- End to end UX design of projects that focus on a user-centered design approach.
- Define user interaction models for new and existing products.
- Create user focused concepts and interactive solutions for a variety of scenarios that address both primary user goals as well as business goals.
- Refinement, maintenance, and enforcement of our current design guidelines and strategies
- Develop detailed site maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups and other product deliverables to effectively communicate UX designs and product requirements to create world-class interactive experiences.
- Communicate UX design solutions to multiple development teams through detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with peers and leaders to maintain product continuity and effective user experience to align with priorities and creative direction.
- Adeptly handle changing priorities throughout a product life cycle.
The ideal candidate should have the following skill set.
- At least 7 to 9 years of professional experience creating design solutions for large-scale projects as an interaction designer or user experience designer.
- Demonstrated knowledge of information architecture, interaction flow, user interface and visual design.
- The expert skill level in the standard tools of the design trade such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, XD.
- A solid understanding of web and mobile design principles and best use of current web and mobile technologies and scalable dynamic user interfaces.
- Familiarity with usability heuristics, relevant HCI literature, and best practice user experiences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to analytically defend your design decisions.
- Experience designing within an agile environment.
- At least basic knowledge of HTML & CSS.
- Expert knowledge of usability and accessibility best practices.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Solid writing and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
