POSITION NAME: PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER
WORKING LOCATION: BANGALORE
Summary:
Contribute to the design, development, troubleshoot, test and document a range of applications including backend (server-side), Web (Angular).
- Interact in a constructive manner with Business Analysts/Tech Lead to:
- Estimate the complexity and the workload;
- Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements;
- Reach the optimal requirement artifact that will lead to a working software solution.
- Interact in a constructive manner with other IT teams.
- Master and apply team technologies and processes and take active part in creating team success.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Objectives:
Principal Software Engineer as part of the respective scrum team should have the ability to analyze, code and deliver tasks as planned with defined quality. Also appreciate to have the ability to learn and acquire new technology skills as a long-term objective. This role expects the candidate to work closely with the scrum team effectively understand the requirements and think through all possible use cases and deliver a quality code per the defined standard and timelines.
Experience:
- 6 to 9 years of experience with developing end to end solutions using .net Technologies.
- Strong working knowledge on server-side development (.net Core).
- Strong working knowledge of Json, XML, CSV, text file parsing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Data Transformation and Data Manipulation.
- Good Working knowledge of Angular, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies.
- Good working knowledge of MS SQL, Performance Optimization of queries.
- Strong working knowledge of NTT Framework.
- Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architecture.
- Good experience is developing background services.
- Hands-on experience in unit testing (NUNIT).
- Should have worked on at least one SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) project.
- Good understanding of Restful services and messaging queuing technologies like Active-MQ.
- Good understanding of UML, object-oriented programming (OOP) and Object-Oriented Design principles
- Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
- Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)
- Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
- Must be a quick learner.
- Strong design skills, Solid principles, Design patterns, documentation of design using UML
Technology – Nice to have:
- Azure or AWS or GCP platform knowledge
- Experience in Azure DevOps, PowerShell
- TDD/ATDD
Personal Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language
- Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a complex international environment.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies would be a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

BE Computer Science/MCA or any other bachelor’s degree with the right experience
