Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled PhD level Principal Scientist with proven experience in immunology and preclinical research to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the design and execution of innovative immunological studies and preclinical programs, helping to drive our platform and therapeutic pipeline forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage immunology and preclinical research projects, ensuring scientific rigor and excellence.
• Develop and validate immunological assays (e.g., flow cytometry, ELISA, CyTOF, cytokine profiling) to evaluate drug candidates' efficacy and mechanism of action.
• Oversee in vivo and in vitro studies, including development and optimization of disease models, study design, data collection, and interpretation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (molecular biology, bioinformatics, clinical development) to achieve integrated research objectives.
• Stay abreast of advancements in immunology and adopt new technologies and methodologies that enhance our research capabilities.
• Prepare and review scientific publications, presentations, and regulatory documents.
• Mentor and develop scientists and research associates, fostering a culture of scientific excellence.
• Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, including at conferences and to regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

• PhD. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of relevant post-Ph.D. experience in immunology and preclinical research, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role in industry.
• Extensive expertise in immunological techniques and assays.
• Strong background in developing and executing preclinical models and studies.
• Proven success in project management and team leadership.
• Previous management experience/developing employees
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and scientific software.
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and requirements for preclinical research.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge in autoimmune diseases, oncology, or infectious diseases.
• Experience in bioinformatics and computational biology tools.
