Role Overview
We are looking for passionate product owners who can help us build intelligent systems to solve consistent availability with efficiency for distinct use-cases of buying in a Retail environment unique to the needs of various supply chains covering millions of suppliers/sellers who provide us millions of ever-increasing selections at Coupang. The role will need high quantitative and process orientation and test your ability to push the boundaries of operational excellence at scale. You would be expected to observe the day-to-day Retail supply chain operations and challenges, unpack nuances with domain knowledge and by diving deep into facts in the Supply Chain. You will incorporate Data Science and engineering into domain and conceptualize new intelligent solutions that solve those problems or rethink a transformational design that eliminates the need of a process. You will manage the product roadmap and iterate the products to keep driving the excellence of our Retail supply chain.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for supply chain product planning, and architecture. Directly contribute to conceptualization, design and development of automated systems

Define supply chain product data operation mechanism to achieve product value and constantly demonstrate it to the stakeholders

Work with the larger OR/Data Science team to find applications of science within the solution landscape and jointly carry out algorithm optimization, and integrate solutions based on business scenarios at the end

Plan to collaborate with upstream and downstream data, engineering, simulation, algorithms, and products to optimize supply chain planning to develop working mechanism from problem statement and defect identification, opportunity analysis, simulation deduction, productization, delivery and continuous value operation.

Align with leadership and stakeholders on input and output metrics for measuring success

Manage the Product backlog and roadmap, prioritize the tasks to achieve business targets and team OKRs
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or master's degree in Statistics, Math, Computer Science or related field

Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in Retail or SCM out of the total experience

Relevant experience in technology or Tech product management
-
Analytical thinker having strong product sense with experience solving SCM problems

Effective written and spoken communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience applying OR Models on SCM, building algorithm optimization and simulation with understanding probability and statistics.

Experience extracting data query and pivoting skill through Data platforms.

Experience with digital supply chain environment or in customizing and implementing 3rd party ERP/SCM solutions like SAP MM module/Oracle/JDA for Supply Chain led set-ups

Been an Operator for some part of career in Supply Chain Planning/Analytics owning direct metrics responsibilities and building analytical models over usual analytics tools like R, Python or Advanced Excel

Document Return Policy
- This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.
