Our security engineering team is at the core of our products with the mission of providing Secure Access. Our solutions, suites and SaaS platform uniquely integrate cloud, mobile, application and network access to enable hybrid IT. We are continuously innovating — challenging the way we, and the industry, think about Secure Access. Our engineers are working and build products to solve complex problems in the Zero Trust World.

This role is hybrid.  Monday and Wednesday in our San Jose, CA office. 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Play a key role in evolving the architecture to harden the security of the secure access product portfolio that covers remote access VPN GWs, ZTA GWs (connectors), Cloud based controller for Secure Access SaaS service.
  • Complete Hands-on approach while working on the solutions.
  • Drive innovations by staying on top of the emerging technologies and trends.  
  • Must be able to do Self-learning and take initiative to work with others to find solutions to problems/assignments that they work on
  • Passion for understanding and researching vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques.
  • Must be self-driven, motivated and passionate about their work.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment that is highly collaborative cross functional teams.
  • Pay special attention to the Quality & Security in all stages of development.
  • Ensure a high degree of security as well as reliability, availability, performance, and scalability.  
  • Ability to educate and guide developers in team to enhance quality of security in the code.

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:

  • 16+ years of complete hands-on experience working on Platform side for Enterprise Networking Security Appliances
  • 16+ years of Experience working in Enterprise Networking Security products preferably in SSL-VPN, NAC, vADC, WAF or Firewall products.
  • MUST have good understanding of the enterprise networking and cloud networking - – must know day in a life of a packet from client to an application in private DC or on cloud.
  • MUST have ability to articulate complex technology clearly.
  • Practical knowledge of applied cryptography and common attacks against modern cryptographic algorithms (encryption at rest, TLS, hashing, etc.)
  • Good Understanding of Networking Protocols (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, IPSec) a BIG PLUS
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technology clearly.
  • Ability to work independently or lead others on projects.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation & persuasion skill
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and drive technical product requirements.
  • Ability to articulate value propositions both within and outside of the organization.
  • Flexible, self-motivated, team player with a start-up mentality and get-it-done attitude.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects, priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly make decisions and influence across organizational boundaries.
  • MBA preferred.

Salary: $165,000.00- $248,000.00
