In addition, you will own creating our strategy to drive product adoption across a broad set of products and customers. In this new role we are looking for a data driven change agent that can help Axon’s product teams up level and transform our approach to making quantitative product decisions to drive customer, community, and company impact. In some respects, this is a non-traditional product role: your most direct users are product managers, customer success managers, product marketers, and other internal stakeholders within Axon. Nevertheless, this is very much a product role since success in this role requires a product mindset as you find opportunities and navigate constraints amongst interrelated user, technical, and business dimensions. This is a multi-faceted role where broad knowledge of product management, enterprise products and customers, data analytics, and change management across regional teams in North America, EMEA, and APAC is critical.

What You’ll Do

Location: Remotely from US, with a preference in the Seattle or Phoenix metros
Reports to: SVP, Product

  • Create the strategy, build the roadmap, and drive execution with our small but mighty product analytics team
  • Own the company wide goal around product adoption, ensuring that product teams and customer success managers have actionable data and insights to drive meaningful improvements to our product adoption goals
  • Ask the right questions - You will be a force multiplier as you partner with other teams who are struggling to understand how their products are being used, and help them create the right input and output metrics that lead to greater customer, community, and company impact.
  • Catalyze change - You will foster a culture of data literacy and analytics excellence within the product team.
  • Create systems/processes/tools to answer questions - You will own the strategy for making it easy for products to emit data, transform that data into meaningful representations, and ultimately use that data to derive insight around those products
  • Build a strategy for automated data feedback loops - over time, we aspire to use data to automatically help our users discover and use the best parts of our products. You will help create the strategy and vision, figure out our scrappy but impactful early experiments, and if successful, grow this into a common platform for all of Axon that can be leveraged by product managers, customer success mangers, and product marketers.

What You Bring

  • Minimum education: You probably have a degree in something technical, but let’s be honest - your demonstrated skills as a product manager in previous roles is what really counts
