Job Description

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Principal Product Manager who will drive significant AI strategy and execution with the potential to transform the trajectory of Butterfly Network. You will understand our strategic and competitive position in the future of ultrasound technology, including chips, devices, developer platforms, and user experiences. Your goal is to deliver products to help our partners to build best in class products on the Butterfly platform. You will be reporting to the VP Product. 

Responsibilities

  • Understand Butterfly’s strategic and competitive position in the future of ultrasound, including hardware, devices, developer platforms, and user experiences. Deliver AI products that are aligned with our strategy and recognized as best in the industry.
  • Build an AI platform, tools, ecosystem that accelerates Butterfly’s and our partner’s ability to ship AI products and experiences.
  • Manage relationships with internal groups and partners, build a thriving ecosystem ensuring their success and ability to deliver value to our platform.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage projects for developer products and platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, policy, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to balance the needs between near-term developer requirements and long-term platform advancements.
  • Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years product management or related industry experience with domain-specific experience in Machine Learning and AI
  • 8+ years of experience working collaboratively with engineering, design and user research teams
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following
  • Experience navigating through the full product life-cycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and pre/post-launch execution
  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences

Location

At Butterfly we offer a hybrid work environment. For most employees, this means part time in the office (two or more days a week). This is a hybrid position and will be based out of our office in New York City, NY.

Compensation 

Our estimated salary for this role is between $190,000 - $215,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Actual pay is determined by multiple factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and market demand.
