Principal Performance QA Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Performance QA Engineer who will join a team working for one of the world's biggest investment banks. Your goal will be to build effective performance evaluation strategies and practices to ensure high availability and stability of the core trading business.
 

We expect the Principal Performance QA Engineer to:
 

  • Lead, inspire and motivate performance analysis division,
  • Envision and research the most effective performance testing approaches,
  • Design and implement complex performance testing frameworks within distributed high-load systems,
  • Evaluate, monitor, and articulate decisions to the key stakeholders,
  • Work on best practices across your team and Company in general.

Must-have skills: 
 

  • Desire to learn a lot and fast – we admire fast learners,
  • Ambition to lead by example; empathy and collaboration as your most effective tools,
  • Advanced understanding of distributed architectures and technologies,
  • Advanced object-oriented programming experience,
  • Strong technical team leadership skills,
  • 3+ years of experience in positions:
    • Team Lead,
    • Senior/Leading Performance Analyst,
    • Senior/Leading SDET
    • Quality Manager,
  • Proven track of delivering reliable and adaptive performance testing frameworks,
  • Problem-solving mindset and desire to charge your team to do amazing things.
     

Nice to have
 

  • FinTech testing or a trading background – Devexperts creates FinTech, and your experience will be very valued,
  • People management: hiring, motivation and continuous improvement background,
  • Presentation mastery - we would like to promote the best ideas and mentor our engineers.
     

Salary: from 5500 to 7000 EUR gross / month. 

Please keep in mind that we are flexible and open to discussing another salary based on your skills and experience.
