Team Description
Eats Finance works in close partnership with Coupang Eats business leaders across all functions. The team is responsible for developing the business and financial plan required to achieve strategic plans and goals, drive value-adding decisions and track performance on growth, margins, and cashflows. The team also supports modeling for new product launches, supplier negotiations and customer analysis.
This role will report to the Head of FP&A/CFO of Coupang Eats and will act as a FP&A partner to Coupang Central FP&A. The role is highly analytical, with a focus on fostering collaboration across stakeholders, challenging status-quo, and encouraging open dialogue.
What You Will Do
- Preparing forecast of PnL and reporting to Head of FP&A/CFO of Coupang Eats about changes in Pnl, forecast assumptions, and variances
- Coordinate and perform annual, quarterly and monthly budgets/forecasts, including analysis to prior budget/forecast and preparation of cause of change explanations
- Support monthly close, analyze monthly results, provide variance explanations
- Coordinate quarterly forecasts and annual budget
- Review and analyze P&L’s and general ledger account balances to ensure accuracy of financial statements
- Consolidating and validating of PnL of Coupang Eats
- Acting as a liaison between Coupang Eats Finance and Coupang Group Finance
- Reconciliation of management accounting Pnl and financial accounting Pnl
- Continuously improving and simplifying management accounting PnL, communicating to Eats Leadership about business in terms of PnL
- Participating in various finance led process improvement activities and other special projects
Essential Qualifications
- 9+ years experience in finance roles (tech/online sector, banking/accounting and consulting)
- Expertise in financial modeling (pricing simulations, cost-benefit and ROI analysis) and Excel
- Analytical thinking and hard skills: SQL and dashboard creation
- Adept at communication and working cross-functionally

- This notification is given pursuant to Article 11 (6) of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act.

- In preparation for a job applicant’s request for the return of hiring documents pursuant to the main sentence of paragraph 2 above, the Company shall retain the original hiring documents submitted by the job applicant for 180 days from the completion of the recruiting process. If no request is made until the end of this period, all of his/her hiring documents will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
