As Senior Consultant SAP Production Planning (PP), you are responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining SAP PP module. You will lead the analysis and design in the SAP PP area, often in close cooperation with the customers' Production Planning team, conduct structured testing internally and with users, and ensure stabilization of the solution and continuous improvements. For that you need a good understanding of the business requirements of the organizations and how to map these requirements into SAP ERP environment.
The SAP Manufacturing Consultant will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SAP PP / QM modules, which includes ensuring system functionality, developing, and implementing customizations, and providing end-user support. - Optionally taking responsibility in Plant Maintenance (PLM) & Advance Variant Configuration (AVC).
- Drive functional conversations and presentations with end user clients as an SAP SME for SAP PP/QM modules according to business requirements.
- Understanding on master data such as Material Master, Inspection Plans, Routings, BoMs, and work centers, as well as detailed knowledge on configuring Material/Capacity Requirement Planning and Shop ?oor control.
- Provide advisory guidance to SAP Clients leveraging industry best practices as recommended by SAP.
- Understanding of the technology layer and development practices for SAP ERP (ECC).
- Influence key client stakeholders on their technology and operations strategy.
- Working with, managing and motivating teams spanning multiple geographies, cultures, and organizations.
- Analyze and drive the resolution of cross-functional issues.
- Develop internal best practices within your area of expertise.
- Support in building demo systems as suggested by SAP solution management team.
- 7+ years of professional experience.
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP PP.
- Demonstrated knowledge / expertise of SAP PP/QM module.
- Understanding of the SAP PP and Quality.
- Optionally experience in SAP PLM and/or AVC.
- Working experience of SAP S/4HANA cloud.
- Certification in Manufacturing for SAP S/4HANA cloud, and/or other SAP Solutions is a plus.
- Experience in several industries and the industry the customer belongs to (core processes and trends of the industry)
- Business and solution-oriented, global mindset with good planning and analytical skills.
- The project team will use communication and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with functional configuration and system design knowledge in the assigned modules with some cross functional awareness of components that interact with the assigned function.
- Expected Travel: 5% to 10%
- During cutover, go-live and hyper care significant onsite in Queretaro will be required.
