WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Saviynt is seeking a Principal IAM Technical Architect to join our Quality Department. In the role of a Principal Architect, you will be leading a team of test engineers and working as a test automation architect, validating a highly-scalable and extensible SaaS enabled Platform, working with internal customers on adoption, as well as identifying and resolving problems throughout the project life cycle. A proven track record of working closely with cross-functional teams like Support, Expert services and Product Management teams by understanding the priorities.
Roles & Responsibilities as an Architect:
- 14+ years of Test Automation experience with at least 3 Years in role of Automation Architect
- Proven expertise in crafting enterprise-level test automation strategies, roadmaps, capacity planning, and estimation.
- Lead the design, architecture, and execution of automation projects across teams.
- Strong knowledge in building, creating, and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks.
- Excellent oral, written, and documentation skills.
- Actively contribute to ongoing improvements in test planning, execution, and reporting to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strong analytical abilities, with a systems-thinking approach to test automation architecture.
- Experience working with Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Promote increased QA productivity through automation, tools, and industry best practices.
- Lead the definition, implementation, and upkeep of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates.
- Collaborate with teams on automation strategies and select appropriate toolkits.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Work closely with development, QA, and project management peers.
- Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive tasks and build comprehensive test coverage using both new and existing infrastructure.
- Evaluate problem statements and develop innovative solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and senior software quality engineers.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
- Strong Expertise in Selenium and API testing using Rest-Assured
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools like Jenkins.
- Knowledge of test automation’s role in supporting Continuous Testing and Continuous Integration.
- Strong Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable test execution.
- Strong Understanding of virtualized environments and containerization (e.g., Docker) for running automated tests.
- Familiarity with security testing, performance testing, and tools that support these efforts (e.g. JMeter)
- Experience in IAM, IGA domain is nice to have.

At Saviynt, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and final compensation decisions are dependent on many factors including, but are not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other relevant business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $150,000 - $180,000 annually.
You may also be eligible to participate in a Saviynt discretionary bonus plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
