We have been ranked 1st in the world in the ‘Global Technical Advisory League Tables’ (Inframation/Infra Deals) for consecutive 3 years (2018, 2019 and 2020) in terms of number and value of total transactions in the transport infrastructure sector, as well as having won several Project Finance International (PFI) awards (2020: ‘Europe PPP Deal of the Year’ for the A465 Sections 5&6, and ‘Europe M&A Deal of the Year’ for the Brisa Acquisition). We provide a full range of advisory services in the infrastructure market, from feasibility stage to bid support, offering independent Traffic and Technical Due Diligence services to Sponsors, Lenders and Investors
Steer is seeking to fill an opening in its India offices for a Principal Consultant with prior transportation transaction advisory and project management experience. Candidates for this position should be highly motivated with a strong capability for critical thinking, a broad range of quantitative research and analysis skills, considerable proficiency using software packages and a particular interest in transportation. This position will be based in our Infrastructure Technical Due Diligence team, and will support the team delivering technical advice to our Clients on potential risks and opportunities for the purpose of financing, acquisition and disposal of major infrastructure assets across the world. We are looking for people with experience and/or an interest in Infrastructure Project Financing, Mergers and Acquisitions, Technical and Commercial Risk Assessment, and, in general, the development of infrastructure projects.
The India office of Steer has been successfully operating for 8 years. We offer a small office environment and the possibility to work on a wide variety of high-profile transportation projects including transaction advisory.
The candidate will have the exciting opportunity to develop a portfolio of new clients within infrastructure transaction market and to support expanding business. He/she will be expected to work effectively with project teams across our international offices and be able to travel in India and overseas if required. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential.

Compensation
Steer is committed to ensuring that all its employees are compensated a fair, competitive wage. All initial compensation, regardless of location, may be subject to change as skills, abilities, internal equity and geographic location are taken into account.
